Congressman Brad Sherman, who represents California’s 32nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of updates on his official social media account regarding his activities in Washington D.C.
On December 10, 2025, Sherman highlighted his participation in a hearing of the House Financial Services Committee. He wrote, “At today’s @USHouseFSC hearing, I pressed AI executives on the risk of an AI-driven market bubble, the responsibility to prevent AI from drifting toward self-awareness, and the need to ensure these systems never displace human intelligence or enable discrimination.”
Later that day, Sherman reported on a meeting between members of the Congress-Knesset Parliamentary Friendship Group and Israeli officials. In his post dated December 10, 2025, he stated: “Yesterday, the Congress-Knesset Parliamentary Friendship Group met with Knesset Speaker @AmirOhana and MK @EitanGinzburg to discuss how the U.S. and #Israel can work together on the pressing challenges facing the region, from disarming Hamas to making sure any U.S.-Saudi nuclear”
In another update posted on December 10, 2025, Sherman referenced his remarks at a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing. He wrote: “At today’s @HouseForeign hearing, I discussed the history and strategic importance of the U.S.–#Israel relationship. Watch my remarks: https://t.co/CBTUxZ8d8s”
Sherman has served in Congress since 1997 after succeeding Anthony Beilenson as representative for California’s 32nd district. Born in Los Angeles in 1954 and currently residing in Sherman Oaks, he holds degrees from UCLA and Harvard University.
