Congressman Brad Sherman, who represents California’s 32nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of statements on social media addressing issues ranging from immigration enforcement to Middle East diplomacy and health care policy.

On January 7, 2026, Sherman commented on reports regarding an incident involving an ICE agent in Minnesota: “Reports that a woman was killed by an ICE agent in Minnesota are deeply disturbing and unacceptable. This unfortunate development is a foreseeable result of Trump’s anti-immigration policies.

There must be a full, transparent investigation and real accountability.

Federal”.

The following day, January 8, 2026, Sherman discussed his participation in diplomatic meetings: “Today, I joined @HouseForeignleadership in meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister @FaisalbinFarhan .

I stressed the United States’ deep desire to see normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel, and a resolution of recent tensions with the UAE.”

On January 9, 2026, he addressed domestic policy concerns related to health care legislation: “Republicans rushed to cut taxes for billionaires, then paid for it with over $1 trillion in health care cuts.

For months — despite Trump’s many distractions and @HouseGOP’s persistent obstruction — @HouseDemocrats fought back.

Today, we voted to restore the Affordable Care Act”.

Sherman has served as a member of Congress since 1997 after succeeding Anthony Beilenson. He was born in Los Angeles in 1954 and resides in Sherman Oaks. Sherman holds degrees from UCLA (BA) and Harvard University (JD).
