Congressman Brad Sherman, representing California’s 32nd district since 1997, has recently shared several statements on social media. These posts reflect his ongoing legislative priorities and current concerns as a U.S. Representative.
On June 18, 2025, Sherman addressed the situation of American citizens in Israel who are seeking evacuation options. He stated that he is “in regular contact with the State Department” and has urged the U.S. government to provide necessary evacuation options for those stranded abroad. He affirmed his commitment to continue advocating for these constituents. The original post can be found here.
The following day, June 19, 2025, Congressman Sherman marked Juneteenth by celebrating the resilience of Black Americans and emphasizing the ongoing fight for equality and justice in the United States. He highlighted the importance of this commemoration through his social media platform. His message is available here.
Later on June 19, Sherman commented on a legal matter involving former President Donald Trump and TikTok’s Chinese owners. He noted that Trump’s failure to enforce certain laws was illegal due to restrictions allowing only one extension. Furthermore, he pointed out an alleged financial transaction where TikTok’s Chinese owners were purchasing “Trump Coins” for $300 million, which he described as a bribe since Trump creates these coins at no cost. Sherman’s full commentary can be accessed here.
Brad Sherman was born in Los Angeles in 1954 and resides in Sherman Oaks. He holds a BA from UCLA and a JD from Harvard University.
