Congressman Brad Sherman, who represents California’s 32nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of tweets reflecting on community events and national policy discussions.

On January 1, 2026, Sherman marked the New Year by highlighting the activities of Hindu communities in his district. He wrote, “This New Year’s Day, thousands of devout Hindus in our community will visit their temples for blessings and prayers. It was my honor to visit the Malibu Hindu Temple and the Valley Hindu Temple.”

Two days later, on January 3, 2026, Sherman commented on former President Trump’s reported plans regarding Venezuela. He stated, “Sherman on @KTLA reacts to Trump’s plan to invade and occupy #Venezuela”.

On January 4, 2026, Sherman referenced his earlier remarks and pointed followers to additional coverage. He tweeted, “I made the same point this morning on @KTLA This article by @NPR provides greater detail: https://t.co/8CVyHRoLiP https://t.co/cSXZA1HsC0 https://t.co/c3ysE9PTK1”.

Sherman has served in Congress since 1997 after succeeding Anthony Beilenson. Born in Los Angeles in 1954 and currently residing in Sherman Oaks, he is an alumnus of UCLA and Harvard Law School.
