Congressman Brad Sherman, who has represented California’s 32nd district in the U.S. Congress since 1997, posted a series of statements on social media regarding Iran, domestic politics under Republican leadership, and concerns about former President Trump’s policy approaches.
On January 13, 2026, Sherman commented on the leadership in Iran by stating: “The Mullahs running #Iran are monsters.”
The following day, January 14, he expressed his perspective on bipartisan governance: “It’s great to see that under a Republican president, a Republican Congress can do important things to solve this nation’s problems.”
Later on January 14, Sherman discussed his appearance on C-SPAN Washington Journal: “Joined @cspanwj this morning to discuss Trump undermining the #FederalReserve’s indepedence, the uprising in #Iran, and the risks of Trump’s #Venezuela strategy. Watch https://t.co/P0mjGQlgvn”
