Congressman Brad Sherman, who represents California’s 32nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted his participation in several community events and legislative efforts through a series of posts on social media.
On August 25, 2025, Sherman shared his appreciation for local faith leaders, writing, “It was great to join the faith community at Poder de Dios church in Reseda. Thank you for being a pillar in our community, your work and leadership is important and does not go unrecognized.”
Later that day, he commented on the conclusion of a local music event: “And just like that, we ended the @ValleyCulturalF summer concert series at Warner Center Park with a bang! Once again, thank you to every constituent who stopped by to say hello. It’s always a pleasure to see the community while enjoying great music and great company.”
On August 26, 2025, Sherman discussed his involvement in supporting veterans’ housing initiatives: “I joined veterans, Congressional partners & VSO leaders for an on-the-record roundtable on the redevelopment of the Soldiers Home (a.k.a the West LA VA campus) — a project I’ve helped support, including securing $1.5 million in federal funds for permanent supportive housing. 1/2”
Sherman has represented California’s 32nd district since 1997 after succeeding Anthony Beilenson. He was born in Los Angeles in 1954 and currently resides in Sherman Oaks. Sherman holds degrees from UCLA and Harvard University.
