Congressman Brad Sherman, who represents California’s 32nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently engaged with constituents through a series of social media posts detailing his community outreach and expressing views on American military involvement.
On December 18, 2025, Sherman announced an upcoming telephone town hall to connect with residents: “Starting soon at 7 PM Our Telephone Town Hall Dial to join 855-920-0548 https://t.co/FffwTvg7ua”. Later that day, he shared his perspective on the relationship between U.S. military actions and large energy corporations, stating, “Americans should not die on the battlefield for the benefit of @exxonmobil, @Chevron, @conocophillips, etc.”.
Reflecting on the results of his outreach efforts, Sherman posted a message of appreciation on December 18: “Grateful to the more than 4,000 residents who joined our final #TownHall of the year last night for a thoughtful, informative discussion on the year behind us and our priorities for the year ahead. Special thanks to our guest, Assemblymember Nick Schultz, for joining us. Event https://t.co/LttNygfh7Q”.
