Congressman Brad Sherman, who represents California’s 32nd district in the U.S. Congress, has recently used his social media platform to comment on a range of local and national issues.

On August 14, 2025, Sherman posted about participating in a discussion with BBC World regarding ongoing redistricting debates across the United States. He stated, “I joined @BBCWorld to discuss the redistricting fight unfolding across the U.S. and what they mean for the future of our democracy.”

Two days later, on August 16, he turned his attention to transportation infrastructure in Los Angeles. In a post advocating for improved transit options between the San Fernando Valley and Westside neighborhoods, Sherman wrote: “Metro’s Sepulveda Pass Project is the best opportunity to improve transit access between the Valley and the Westside, and to reduce traffic on the 405.

Later that same day, Sherman reported attending a rally in Studio City opposing actions by what he called an “extremist administration.” He shared: “Today I stood once again with passionate constituents in another #StudioCityRising rally. I believe I have spoken at well over a dozen rallies to make our voices heard: #NoKings!

Our voices were loud and clear – the actions of this extremist administration are unacceptable.”

Sherman has represented California’s 32nd district since replacing Anthony Beilenson in 1997. Born in Los Angeles in 1954, he resides in Sherman Oaks and holds degrees from UCLA (BA) and Harvard University (JD).
