Congressman Brad Sherman, a long-serving representative of California’s 32nd district since 1997, has recently shared his concerns and positions on various pressing issues via social media. Sherman’s background includes an education from the University of California, Los Angeles, and Harvard University, as well as residing in Sherman Oaks.

On July 10, 2025, Sherman expressed his worries regarding the arrests of Armenian dissidents. As Vice Chair of the Armenia Caucus, he stated: “As Vice Chair of the Armenia Caucus, I am deeply concerned about recent arrests of Armenian dissidents, including Mr. Samvel Karapetyan and clergy of the Armenian Church. Our relationship with #Armenia is built on our shared dedication to democracy. I expressed these concerns”.

The following day, July 11, 2025, Sherman took to social media to voice his opposition to immigration enforcement actions in Los Angeles. He stated: “Congressman Sherman denounces #ICERaids in L.A. on @NBCLA https://t.co/gwgk5gRrF4”.

Later that day, he criticized Republican efforts regarding healthcare policies. He commented: “Next time you hear Republicans claim they’re ‘protecting’ health care, remember: they voted for Trump’s #BigUglyBill that defunds #PlannedParenthood, ripping away reproductive care and access to critical non-abortion services — from cancer screenings to basic checkups — from”.
