On June 14, Congressman Sherman expressed his support for a fellow politician by stating “Hakeem speaks for us.” This tweet did not provide further details but was indicative of his alignment with the views or statements made by Hakeem.
Later that day, Sherman tweeted about participating in a rally alongside his daughters Lucy and Naomi, and Studio City resident Bill Nye. He mentioned the event was against what he described as “America’s Chief Monarchist,” referring to Donald Trump. In this tweet, he highlighted a tragic consequence of slashed USAID programs, mentioning that “When her life-saving oxygen supply was cut off, Pe Kha Lu died as a result of the slashed USAID programs.”
On June 15, Congressman Sherman extended Father’s Day wishes to his followers with the message “#HappyFathersDay to all my fellow dads! Thank you to our dads for their knowledge and guidance, and for the sacrifices they’ve made.” This tweet reflected on the role and contributions of fathers.
