The California football program has announced a partnership with NBC Sports Bay Area to produce a weekly television show for the 2025 season. The program, titled Inside Cal Football, will premiere on September 4 at 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time.
Inside Cal Football aims to provide an in-depth look at the team. Each episode will include footage from previous games, player features, and interviews with Travers Family Head Football Coach Justin Wilcox, General Manager Ron Rivera, assistant coaches, and players. The show will also preview upcoming opponents.
Episodes are scheduled to air every Thursday at 5:30 p.m., ahead of pregame coverage for the San Francisco Giants and Golden State Warriors during football season. Additional replays will be available on Fridays and Saturdays before kickoff. There will be no episodes during weeks when the Golden Bears have a bye.
Fans who do not have access to NBC Sports Bay Area can watch Inside Cal Football on CalBears.com and the Cal Athletics YouTube page each Saturday morning after a new episode airs.
NBC Sports Bay Area broadcasts throughout Northern California, Nevada, Southern Oregon, and Hawaii. It is also home to teams such as MLB’s San Francisco Giants, NBA’s Golden State Warriors, NBA G-League’s Santa Cruz Warriors, and serves as the official regional sports network for the San Francisco 49ers.
