The California football program has partnered with the Raider fan group “The Black Hole” to launch a new section at California Memorial Stadium called “The Black Bear.” This area, located in the south end zone, will be available to fans who purchase tickets through a special link on CalBears.com.

“The Black Bear” will make its debut during Cal’s home game against Texas Southern, scheduled for Saturday at 3 p.m. PT. The group is expected to have a presence at all future home games.

Fans attending can also join pregame activities, as “The Black Bear” will host a tailgating tent in Oski’s Village starting at noon on Saturday.

“We are excited to bring our passion, energy and excitement of football to Berkeley,” said Cisco Ortega, president of the Black Hole Bay Area Chapter.

Cal enters this matchup after securing a 34-15 win over Oregon State in their season opener and aims for a 2-0 start for the second consecutive year.
