The California men’s and women’s golf teams are set to participate in the 2025 St Andrews Links Collegiate, which will take place at the Old and Jubilee Courses in St Andrews, Scotland. The event is scheduled for October 13-15, as announced by Golf Channel and St Andrews Links Trust.
Joining Cal in this four-school field are Michigan State, Princeton, and the University of St Andrews. This marks the first appearance for Cal, Michigan State, and Princeton at this event. The University of St Andrews will make its second appearance. Over three days, both men’s and women’s teams from each university will compete with two days dedicated to stroke play on the Jubilee Course and a final day of medal match play on the Old Course.
In the United States, Golf Channel will broadcast live coverage starting at 6 a.m. PT each morning with replays at 10 a.m. PT.
The St Andrews Links Collegiate debuted in 2023 and this year’s competition marks its third edition. Last year saw Northwestern secure the men’s team title while Zach Pollo from Arizona took home the individual men’s prize. Arizona claimed victory in the women’s team category with Ashley Yun from Northwestern winning individually.
