The California Golden Bears men’s tennis team is set to begin its 2025 fall season with the Battle of the Bay Classic, scheduled for September 11-14 at the California Tennis Club in San Francisco. This marks the start of an 11-tournament schedule for the team.

After opening in San Francisco, the Golden Bears will travel to Thousand Oaks to compete in the Sherwood Cup. The team will then participate in its first Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) event of the fall, the ITA All-American Championships, which takes place from September 20 to 28 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Following their time in Tulsa, Cal will compete in tournaments hosted in Tiburon, Fairfield, and Davis. The ITA Northwest Regional Championships are set to be held next in Pacific.

The Golden Bears’ schedule continues with participation in the Jack Kramer Invitational before they return home to host the ITA Sectional Championships at Hellman Tennis Complex in Berkeley from November 6-9.

As the fall season draws to a close, Cal will play two more ITA events: first at the ITA Conference Masters Championships in San Diego and finally at the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships in Orlando, Florida.
