The California Golden Bears men’s golf team has released its schedule for the 2025-26 season, featuring a range of high-profile tournaments and collaborative events.
The season will begin with the Folds of Honor Collegiate from September 8-10. This tournament aims to support educational scholarships for families of fallen or disabled military personnel and first responders. The event will include 15 teams, eight of which reached an NCAA regional last year, and coverage will be provided by the Golf Channel.
In October, both the men’s and women’s golf teams from Cal will participate in the St Andrews Links Collegiate in Scotland. The tournament, now in its third year, brings together Michigan State, Princeton, and the University of St Andrews alongside Cal for three days of competition. Stroke play is scheduled for October 13-14 on the Jubilee Course, followed by match play on the Old Course. The event will also be televised on the Golf Channel.
Cal’s annual Big Match against Stanford is set for September 25 in Menlo Park. Both men’s and women’s teams will take part in this traditional rivalry event.
March marks the debut of the Desimone Invitational hosted by Cal. Named after former coach Steve Desimone—who led the program for 37 years—the invitational will feature 15 teams, including six that competed at last season’s NCAA Championships.
Later in spring, Cal is scheduled to compete at the Cabo Challenge in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The field includes five teams from last year’s NCAA Championships as well as defending national champion Oklahoma State. Seven teams ranked in last season’s top 25 SCOREBOARD rankings are expected to participate.
The ACC Championship is planned for April 23-27 at Sharks Tooth Golf Club in Panama City Beach, Florida. Last season saw twelve conference teams reach an NCAA regional.
