California and Denmark to sign agreement on climate and technology partnership

A Danish delegation led by Minister for Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen and Ambassador of Denmark to the U.S. Jesper Møller Sørensen is scheduled to meet with California Governor Gavin Newsom and state officials in San Francisco County on August 22. The purpose of the meeting is to sign a partnership focused on advancing collaboration in climate, technology, and innovation.

The event will take place at approximately 9:45 a.m. and will be available for public viewing through livestreams on the Governor’s Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram pages. TV stations can also access the event via LiveU Matrix under “California Governor.”

According to organizers, attendance at the press event is limited to credentialed media who must RSVP by 11 p.m. on August 21. Location details will be provided after confirmation. There will be limited opportunities for press questions due to time constraints.
