Three members of the California track and field team, Lucija Leko, Audrey Jacobs, and Mari Testa, are set to compete in the European U23 Athletics Championships. The event will take place from Thursday to Sunday at Fana Stadium in Bergen, Norway.

Lucija Leko from Croatia will participate in both the women’s shot put and discus events. She holds a personal record (PR) of 17.10m in shot put, which is both a school record and the second-best mark in Croatian history. Her season-best discus throw is 56.85m.
Audrey Jacobs from the Netherlands will compete in the women’s hammer throw contest. Her season-best throw of 64.94m was achieved at the NCAA West Regional in May. Jacobs’ PR of 65.22m is a Dutch U23 record.
Mari Testa qualified for the European U23 Championships after winning gold in the 100m hurdles at the Austrian U23 Championships with a time of 13.56 seconds.
The schedule for their appearances includes various qualifiers and finals throughout Thursday to Sunday, with times provided for both Pacific Time (PT) and local time.
