Two student-athletes from the California women’s track and field team have been recognized by the College Sports Communicators for their academic achievements. Caisa-Marie Lindfors, a graduate student, was named to the second team of the 2024-25 Academic All-America Team, while junior Audrey Jacobs earned third-team honors.
Lindfors and Jacobs qualified for this recognition after previously receiving CSC Academic All-District honors last month. To be eligible for these awards, student-athletes must be at least sophomores with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 and have achieved a top-50 regional ranking in an event, either indoor or outdoor.
Lindfors has consistently demonstrated her prowess in discus, holding Cal’s record in the event. She received First-Team All-American honors last season after securing fourth place at the 2025 NCAA Championships. Jacobs was acknowledged as an honorable mention All-American in the hammer throw this year.
