Ten members of the California baseball team have been recognized for their academic and athletic achievements by being named to the 2025 All-ACC Academic Team. The announcement was made by the conference on Thursday.

The players honored include Jarren Advincula, Alex Birge, Oliver de la Torre, Gavin Eddy, Max Handron, PJ Moutzouridis, Logan Piper, David Shaw, Ryan Tayman, and Cole Tremain. To qualify for this recognition, student-athletes must have maintained a 3.0 grade point average in the previous semester and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 throughout their academic career.

Jarren Advincula led Cal in several categories during the season including hits and doubles. Alex Birge stood out with his home runs and walks while also earning previous academic accolades. Oliver de la Torre contributed as a pitcher with multiple starts and appearances.

Gavin Eddy posted significant innings pitched with notable strikeouts. Max Handron showed power with home runs while contributing in RBIs. PJ Moutzouridis had numerous starts and was among the leaders in stolen bases.

Logan Piper made several appearances as a pitcher contributing saves for the team. David Shaw participated significantly with innings pitched and strikeouts despite challenges in win-loss record. Ryan Tayman played extensively as catcher adding home runs to his stats.

Cole Tremain not only pitched frequently but also achieved a leading earned run average for the club.
