The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) has announced 14 open positions on its Cattle Health Task Force Advisory Board. The board advises the CDFA on issues related to cattle health throughout the state.

According to the department, individuals interested in serving on the advisory board are encouraged to apply for these vacancies. The CDFA is seeking applicants with experience or expertise relevant to cattle health and management.

“Serving on this task force provides an opportunity for stakeholders to contribute directly to policies and practices that affect California’s cattle industry,” said a spokesperson from the CDFA.

Applications will be reviewed by the department, which aims to ensure broad representation from across the industry. Those selected will participate in discussions and provide recommendations on matters such as disease prevention, animal welfare, and other concerns facing California’s cattle sector.

For more information about the application process or requirements, visit the official CDFA website at https://www.cdfa.ca.gov/.
