California men’s tennis falls in NCAA doubles championship round of 32

The California men’s tennis team concluded its fall season after a loss in the NCAA Doubles Championship at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida. On Wednesday, senior Tiago Silva and junior Timofey Stepanov were defeated by Middle Tennessee’s 64th-ranked duo, Karim Al-Amin and Ondrej Horak, with a score of 6-3, 6-4 in the round of 32.

With this result, California’s representation in the postseason ended. The team will return to competition in January when the spring dual-match season begins.
