The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) has released the California women’s basketball team’s conference schedule for the 2025-26 season. The announcement details matchups for the Golden Bears’ second year in the ACC, with specific game times and broadcast information to be announced later.
California’s schedule features seven games against teams that participated in the 2025 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. The home opener is set for January 8 against Duke, which reached the Elite Eight last season. Another highlighted home game will take place on January 29 when Notre Dame, a Sweet 16 team, visits Haas Pavilion.
The Golden Bears begin their ACC play on December 14 at Stanford. Their first extended road trip includes games against North Carolina and NC State, both of whom advanced to the Sweet 16 in the previous tournament, on January 1 and January 4 respectively. After returning home to face Duke and Wake Forest, Cal will continue its conference campaign with other notable matchups.
Other key home games include a meeting with Stanford in the Battle of the Bay on January 25 and a February 1 contest against Louisville, which made it to the second round of last year’s NCAA Tournament.
Cal will close out its regular conference schedule at home against Clemson on February 26 and SMU on March 1. Including nonconference opponents such as Vanderbilt, Grand Canyon, and USC—each of whom appeared in the 2025 NCAA Tournament—the Bears are scheduled to play ten games against tournament teams this season. That number could increase to eleven if Cal faces Harvard during the Raising The B.A.R. Invitational at Haas Pavilion.
Following regular season play, the ACC Tournament is scheduled for March 4-8 at Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia.
