Congressman Brad Sherman, representing California’s 32nd district since 1997, has taken to social media to address several pressing issues. A graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles and Harvard University, Sherman has a long-standing career in public service. In recent tweets, he discussed antisemitism, celebrated Pride Month, and addressed housing concerns.

On June 3rd, Congressman Sherman addressed the recent “horrific antisemitic terror attack in Boulder” through a post on social media. He emphasized the need for collective action against all forms of antisemitism, including antizionism. According to his statement “Following yesterday’s horrific antisemitic terror attack in Boulder, I joined @TMZ to discuss our shared obligation to fight antisemitism in all its forms. That includes antizionism, which just led to two deadly antisemitic terror attacks in less than two weeks.” He urged legislative measures by stating “We need to pass https://t.co/jkb6oXh07A.”

In another post on June 3rd “#PrideMonth is a time to celebrate the contributions of the LGBTQ+ community while reaffirming our resolve to the fight for equality.” Sherman expressed support for Pride Month celebrations and reiterated his commitment to equality.

Further engaging with local communities on June 4th “Great meeting as usual with @SouthlandAOR and Los Angeles REALTORS @nardotrealtor to discuss proposals to increase homeownership in LA and nationwide.” Congressman Sherman discussed strategies with real estate professionals aimed at enhancing homeownership opportunities both locally and across the nation.
