Steve Cortes, founder of the League of American Workers, said that violence against police is exacerbated when perpetrators display foreign flags and advocated for deportation.
“Any anti-cop violence is outrageous,” said Cortes. “It’s even worse when the cretin ingrates wave foreign flags on American soil. Deport!!!”
According to Cortes, he posted on X in response to a video showing rioters waving Mexican flags while attacking law enforcement officers in Los Angeles. The post expressed outrage over anti-cop violence made worse by the display of foreign flags on U.S. soil. It concluded with a strong call for deportation of the involved individuals.
Ambush attacks on police in Los Angeles remain high, with 56 officers shot through July 2025. This ongoing threat to law enforcement stems from various criminal activities in the city. Superior Court records indicate related charges for willful discharge of firearms and possession of assault weapons, straining police resources amid urban challenges.
California prisons have transferred over 9,500 individuals with criminal records to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) since 2019. In 2025, ICE collected 1,217 inmates directly from state corrections facilities. These transfers address the criminal presence within immigrant populations across the state, supporting enforcement priorities.
The U.S. Border Patrol recorded 8,531 criminal alien arrests in Fiscal Year 2023, covering offenses like assault, homicide, and drug trafficking. Among these, 692 involved assault and battery, while three were for homicide or manslaughter. Such arrests highlight criminal elements tied to illegal border activities nationwide.
