California-based veterinary companies underwent 21 FDA inspections across 20 firms in the first quarter of 2026, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

This represented the third highest inspection count by company type conducted by the FDA in California, accounting for 7.1% of all inspections during the period.

Among veterinary companies in California, Molina Agro-Clusters of USA, Inc. received the highest number of citations from the FDA in the first quarter of 2026.

The FDA routinely inspects facilities across the nation to determine if the workplace and their products are compliant with FDA-regulated laws and regulations implemented to improve overall public health. Inspection results are then disclosed publicly.

According to its website, the FDA is a government agency that is primarily responsible for monitoring the production and distribution of human and animal drugs, biological products, medical supplies and tobacco products for safety and quality.
