Fresh Express announced on May 5 that it will launch the Fresh Start to Summer Challenge, a 14-day event starting May 11 and running through May 24. The challenge invites participants to follow daily prompts aimed at bringing fresh inspiration and healthy eating ideas into their routines, with opportunities to win prizes.

The initiative is designed for people seeking simple ways to refresh their meal habits as summer approaches. Each day of the challenge will feature a new prompt or action, such as building quick lunches or trying different salad combinations, making it accessible for everyday life.

According to Fresh Express, “It is not about being perfect. It is about making small, simple choices that help you feel inspired heading into summer.” The company encourages participation by highlighting benefits such as easy inspiration for meals and snacks, fun motivation throughout the two weeks, and the possibility of winning prizes.

Fresh Express supports its community health goals by supplying nutritious salads while reducing environmental impact through emission reductions equivalent to removing 200,000 cars from roads annually. The company manages regional farms and facilities across multiple U.S. regions—including the East, West, South, Midwest and Southwest—to support its operations. It produces about 40 million pounds of salad each month and reaches more than 20 million portions weekly. These efforts are part of a broader commitment to sustainability through reduced plastic use, lower emissions and improved water conservation; additionally Fresh Express functions alongside its subsidiaries within its own entity structure; all according to the official website.

The company also notes it has been recognized as a gold standard in food safety practices within the industry according to the official website.

Participants interested in joining can visit www.freshexpressfreshstartchallenge.com on May 11 when registration opens.
