Governor Gavin Newsom has signed a series of bills into law, according to an announcement from his office on July 28, 2025. The new legislation covers a range of topics, including highway safety, mobilehome park transactions, public postsecondary education, agricultural vehicle inspections, school district equipment inventories, pediatric cancer research funding, and electric bicycle regulations.

Among the bills signed are AB 390 by Assemblymember Lori Wilson (D-Suisun City), which addresses highway safety; AB 456 by Assemblymember Damon Conolly (D-San Rafael) regarding sales or transfers in mobilehome parks; and AB 466 by Assemblymember José Luis Solache (D-Paramount), which pertains to educational information about organ donation in public postsecondary institutions.

Other notable measures include AB 965 by Assemblymember Diane Dixon (R-Newport Beach) concerning electric bicycles, and AB 703 by Assemblymember Alex Lee (D-Milpitas) establishing the California Pediatric Cancer Research Voluntary Tax Contribution Fund. Additional legislation focuses on property taxation reforms, financial institutions oversight, courthouse construction fees, and bingo gaming regulations.
