Governor Newsom to announce new tech innovation legislation in Alameda County

Governor Gavin Newsom is scheduled to sign new legislation aimed at reinforcing California’s leadership in technology and innovation. The announcement will take place in Alameda County on Friday, October 3, at approximately 11:30 a.m.

Newsom will be joined by legislative leaders and community members for the event. According to the Governor’s office, the press conference will outline legislative measures intended to support California’s ongoing economic strength in the global tech sector.

The event will be livestreamed on the Governor’s official Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram pages. TV stations can also access coverage via LiveU Matrix under “California Governor.”
