John Kabateck, the California State Director for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), has been a significant figure in California’s political and public policy landscape for 25 years. He has served two governors, worked with major business associations, and participated in ballot initiative campaigns.
In his role at NFIB, Kabateck shapes lobbying strategies and campaign agendas for California’s largest small business association. He also leads Kabateck Strategies, a firm celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, which advises clients on issues like artificial intelligence, data privacy, energy production, and bail reform.
