California sophomore forward Liz Klompmaker has been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Region First Team for the second consecutive year, according to an announcement from the organization on Wednesday.
This marks Klompmaker’s second postseason honor this year, following her selection to the All-ACC First Team in November.
During the 2025 season, Klompmaker ranked fourth in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) with 16 goals and third with 77 shots. She recorded three games with multiple goals, including two matches where she scored three times. In California’s final game of the season against Stanford, Klompmaker scored twice, moving into a tie for ninth place on Cal’s all-time career goals list.
Klompmaker found the net in 11 out of 16 games played this season. On October 14, she was named ACC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time in her career after scoring the decisive goal in an upset victory over No. 5 Syracuse.
