Governor Gavin Newsom is set to announce a new partnership with major technology companies aimed at preparing California students and workers for future developments in technology. The announcement will take place in San Francisco on Thursday, August 7, at approximately 1:30 p.m.

The event will be livestreamed on the Governor’s Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube pages. TV stations can also access the event via the LiveU Matrix under “California Governor.” Attendance is limited to credentialed media who must RSVP by August 6.

“Governor Gavin Newsom tomorrow will announce a new joint effort with some of the world’s leading tech companies to help better prepare California’s students and workers for the next generation of technology.”
