The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has launched a series of radio and digital advertisements across California’s 22nd, 40th, and 41st Congressional Districts. The campaign expresses appreciation to Representatives David Valadao, Young Kim, and Ken Calvert for their support in making the 20% Small Business Tax Deduction permanent.
This effort is part of NFIB’s ongoing advocacy to maintain the deduction, which was originally established under the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. The provision enables small business owners to deduct up to 20% of their qualified business income, aiming to provide more certainty for these businesses as they plan for growth and employment.
“Making the 20% Small Business Tax Deduction permanent is a big win for Main Street,” said NFIB California State Director John Kabateck. “By voting to protect this tax relief, Representatives David Valadao, Young Kim, and Ken Calvert have given small business owners in California the certainty they need to grow their operations, continue creating jobs, and give back to their communities. NFIB appreciates their leadership in standing up for small businesses in our state.”
According to NFIB’s statement, these ads are part of a multi-year initiative aimed at supporting policies that benefit small enterprises by reducing tax burdens compared with larger corporations.
