U.S. Representative Norma Torres, who serves California’s 35th district, recently highlighted community achievements and local industry innovation through a series of posts on her social media account.
On August 20, 2025, Torres shared her experience with local youth leaders: “It was a privilege to join Troop 2017 and celebrate the outstanding Scouts who were promoted! Your dedication, leadership, and service are a shining example for our community. Congratulations on this incredible milestone!”
The following day, she spotlighted business advancements in Rancho Cucamonga: “In Rancho Cucamonga, Pres-Tek & Prestige Mold Inc. are transforming the medical, industrial, and consumer industries with precision molding. Led by CEO Donna Pursell, they’re driving innovation & opening doors for the next gen of manufacturers in the Inland Empire.” This post underscores the role of local companies in fostering manufacturing opportunities in the region.
Later that same day, Torres addressed healthcare policy efforts: “Today, I hosted a roundtable with the Inland Empire Health Plan to reflect on a decade of healthcare in the Inland Empire, assess current needs, and explore policy solutions to strengthen our workforce. Together, we’re building a healthier, stronger future for our region.”
