Rep. Norma Torres, who represents California’s 35th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on her official X account between July 25 and July 27, 2025. The posts addressed issues ranging from immigration enforcement to community engagement.
On July 25, Torres wrote, “I urged @CAgovernor to help Californians protect themselves from ICE and CBP. With support from CA DOJ and local law enforcement, we must hold bad anctors accountable when they violate state and federal law. Unlawful raids have no place in our communities, and I’ll keep https://t.co/D3yMcvfVmC”. The post called for action from California’s governor and highlighted the need for accountability regarding alleged unlawful actions by federal immigration authorities.
On July 26, Torres shared another post stating, “Here, fixed it for you. https://t.co/D5a3SQHA6v https://t.co/qshKzqdC6t”.
A day later, on July 27, she reflected on her outreach efforts: “I enjoyed being at the Pomona Farmers Market today and connecting with my constituents! My team and I are here to provide #CA35 with the support and resources they need to thrive. Don’t miss us next Saturday! https://t.co/5I0llqHUCt”.
