With school starting, districts are laying off staff & cutting programs. Our students can’t afford this chaos.”

Norma Torres has represented California’s 35th district in Congress since 2015 after replacing Gloria Negrete McLeod. She previously served in both the California State Assembly and Senate between 2008 and 2014. Born in Escuintla, Guatemala in 1965, Torres currently resides in Pomona and holds a BA from National Labor College.
