Riverside County Coroner identifies Hector Gonzalez in fatal incident on May 3

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office identified Hector Gonzalez, an 18-year-old male from Winchester, as the individual who died on May 3. The coroner’s report said Gonzalez was injured at approximately 6:21 a.m. and pronounced dead at Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar at 7:51 a.m.

According to the press release, the injury occurred on the dirt shoulder of westbound Florida Avenue, about 436 feet west of Four Seasons Boulevard in Hemet. The California Highway Patrol – Indio is leading the investigation into this incident.

The next of kin for Gonzalez has been notified. Authorities have assigned investigation number 260503IC0083 to this case.

Officials advise that anyone seeking further information should refer to the investigating agency.

This case has been marked as final by the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
