The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office will hold a Coffee with a Cop event in Orcutt on Saturday, December 20, 2025. The gathering is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Gina’s Piece of Cake, located at 205 East Clark Avenue.

This event aims to give local residents an opportunity to meet deputies in an informal setting. Community members can ask questions, share concerns, and interact with the deputies who serve their area. There is no formal agenda or speeches planned for the meeting.

Gina’s Piece of Cake will provide complimentary drip coffee to attendees during the event.

“Events like Coffee with a Cop give us the chance to connect with the people we serve, outside of a call for service,” said Community Resource Deputy Shawn Banks. “Orcutt is a tight-knit community, and these conversations—big or small—help us understand what matters most to the people we serve. I hope folks will stop by, grab a cup of coffee, and share what’s on their minds.”

The Sheriff’s Office encourages residents, business owners, and community partners to attend.
