Seven players from the California Golden Bears football team have been named to the 2025 All-ACC Football Teams, with three athletes earning first-team honors. This marks the highest number of Cal first-team all-conference selections since 2011 and matches Clemson, Georgia, and Miami for the most in the Atlantic Coast Conference this year.
Jacob De Jesus received three All-ACC honors: first-team as an all-purpose player and specialist, and second-team as a wide receiver. De Jesus leads the ACC in receptions and kickoff return average, ranking third nationally in catches per game. His 99 receptions are second only to Dameane Douglas’s school record of 100 set in 1998. “Leads the ACC and ranks third nationally with career highs of 99 receptions and 8.25 receptions per game,” according to Cal Athletics. He also tops the conference in kickoff return average at 21.3 yards per return.
Hezekiah Masses was selected as a first-team cornerback after leading both the nation and ACC with 18 passes defended this season. Masses is tied for second in the conference with five interceptions.
Cade Uluave earned first-team recognition at inside linebacker with a team-high 90 tackles despite missing parts of three games due to injury. Uluave also led Cal in tackles for loss (11.5) and sacks (3), while contributing six pass breakups.
Cornerback Brent Austin made the third team after tying for second nationally with 13 pass breakups and making key defensive plays late in games, including a forced fumble against North Carolina that secured a win for Cal.
Linebacker Luke Ferrelli, defensive tackle Aidan Keanaaina, and running back Kendrick Raphael were named honorable mentions. Ferrelli finished second on the team with 87 tackles, including an interception that sealed a victory over Boston College. Keanaaina led all Cal defensive linemen with 55 tackles—tied for second-most among ACC linemen—and became the first Cal defensive lineman since Cameron Jordan in 2010 to surpass fifty tackles in a season twice consecutively.
Raphael ranked third in rushing touchdowns within the ACC this season with twelve scores, which ties him for ninth on Cal’s single-season list; he also led the conference in total carries (215).
All honorees except Uluave are receiving All-ACC recognition for the first time; Uluave was previously an honorable mention pick last year.
The announcement comes ahead of major individual awards—including Player of the Year—which will be revealed later this week by conference officials.
