Ricarda Hammer, whose pronouns are she/her, is the newest addition to the faculty at an undisclosed institution, specializing in Sociology. Hammer brings an impressive educational background to her new position, holding a B.A. in social & political sciences from the University of Cambridge, a graduate diploma in economics from the School of Oriental & African Studies, and a Ph.D. in sociology from Brown University, obtained in 2021.

Hammer's research interests span a wide range of topics within the field of sociology, including Anticolonial Politics, Empire, Racism, Global and Transnational Sociology, Historical Sociology, and Social Theory.

Her expertise and qualifications make her a valuable asset to the academic community, and her presence is sure to enrich the learning experience for students and colleagues alike.
