Sacramento, Calif. – Secretary of State Shirley N. Weber, Ph.D., released the latest Report of Registration today, reflecting data as of July 5, 2024. The report indicates that a total of 22,171,899 Californians are registered to vote, representing 82.43% of eligible voters. This is a slight decrease from the 83.49% recorded at the same point before the general election four years ago.

Californians have the option to register to vote or update their voter registration online at registertovote.ca.gov. Those unsure about their voter registration status can check it quickly at voterstatus.sos.ca.gov.

The report includes detailed information on:

- Voter registration by political party, county, city, congressional district, state senate district, state assembly district, state board of equalization district, county supervisorial district, and political subdivision.

- Statewide voter registration by age group and by county.

- Historical comparisons to previous 123-Day reports of registration.

- Voter registration by political bodies attempting to qualify as political parties (by county).
