The Morning Star Company highlighted Megan Greer-Hansen from its customer service team in a May 13 announcement, describing her as an example of the company’s spirit and culture.
Greer-Hansen has worked at Morning Star since 2017 and is known among colleagues for her caring personality, creativity, and dedication to both customers and coworkers. The company said she is recognized for being welcoming, thoughtful, solution-oriented, and always willing to help others. She adapts to changing customer requirements, advocates for customer needs across the supply chain, and brings a personal touch by surprising coworkers with homemade lunches and handcrafted gifts.
Greer-Hansen said she was attracted to Morning Star because of its unique culture. Before joining the company, she worked various jobs starting at age 13. Her experience includes managing a toy store as a teenager, working at a golf resort in New Mexico that hosted celebrities, spending nearly ten years at The UPS Store in Los Banos before moving to Morning Star. When asked about her experience at the company, Greer-Hansen said: “driven, challenging, and unique.” She added that building strong relationships through friendly service is one of the most rewarding parts of her role.
Outside work, family plays an important role in Greer-Hansen’s life. She shares camping trips with her husband Mike and daughter Aubrey—a tradition that began on one of their first dates. Greer-Hansen credits much of who she is today to her family’s example growing up: “She describes her father as one of the strongest people she’s ever known – someone who could fix anything and always gave his all… Her mother’s kindness… left a lasting impression,” according to the press release.
Creativity is also central for Greer-Hansen; she enjoys painting, sewing, puzzles—and especially cooking both at home and for colleagues. Looking ahead professionally and personally, travel destinations like Alaska or Ireland are on her list along with new adventures such as ziplining or skydiving.
Morning Star Company generates annual sales exceeding $800 million through tomato products production; it operates three state-of-the-art processing facilities in California’s Central Valley—the world’s largest production scale dedicated solely to tomatoes—and maintains vertical integration by owning or partnering with affiliate enterprises according to the official website.
