The University of California, Davis will conduct a test of its WarnMe emergency notification system at noon on April 29. The university is encouraging all community members to verify and update their contact information through the WarnMe website.
WarnMe is designed to provide information and directions during emergencies that pose an immediate threat to life and safety. In addition, Aggie Alert messages use the same system and contact details to notify recipients about events on or near campus that may disrupt normal activities.
Messages from both systems are sent by email and text to individuals with a ucdavis.edu address. Notifications also appear on a dedicated webpage with links for more information, may be posted in the Everbridge Mobile App, and shared through UC Davis’ official Facebook and X accounts. Those without a UC Davis email address—including parents or vendors—can sign up for text alerts by texting UCDALERTS to 888777.
