The UCLA women’s golf team was named the No. 3 seed for the NCAA Tallahassee Regional, which will take place from May 11 to May 13 at Seminole Legacy Golf Club in Tallahassee, Florida, according to an April 30 announcement.

This selection marks UCLA’s 36th appearance in the NCAA Tournament and continues a streak of postseason berths under head coach Alicia Um Holmes. In her first season leading the program during the 2023-24 campaign, Holmes guided UCLA to a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Las Vegas Regional and a runner-up position at the NCAA Championships.

At this year’s regional event, UCLA will compete against eleven other programs: Florida (No.1), Wake Forest (No.2), Florida State (No.4), Eastern Michigan (No.5), Kentucky (No.6), Purdue (No.7), Clemson (No.8), Louisiana-Monroe (No.9), North Florida (No.10), Arkansas-Little Rock (No.11) and UTRGV (No.12). The top five teams from each regional site—thirty teams total—and six individuals not on advancing teams will qualify for the NCAA Championships scheduled for May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.

UCLA has prior experience at Seminole Legacy Golf Club, having tied for second place during their last visit to the NCAA Tallahassee Regional in spring of 2022.

Other regional sites this year include Ann Arbor, Michigan; Chapel Hill, North Carolina; Huntsville, Alabama; Stanford, California; and Waco, Texas.
