Vegetation fire causes traffic restrictions near Highway 113 and Interstate 80

A vegetation fire occurred on Saturday afternoon near the junction of Highway 113 and Interstate 80, causing traffic restrictions in the vicinity. The UC Davis Fire Department responded to the incident shortly before 5 p.m. on June 21. The fire affected approximately 15 acres.

The forward progress of the fire was halted by around 6:30 p.m. According to reports from Saturday evening, there were no impacts on people, animals, or structures.
