San Mateo home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in San Mateo rose by $225,000 while total sales increased by 4.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 162 homes sold, with a median sale price of $1,100,000 - a 25.7% increase over the $875,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 155 homes sold in San Mateo in the first quarter of 2016.
