Sequoia home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Sequoia rose by $261,000 while total sales increased by 71.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $1,660,000 - a 18.7% increase over the $1,399,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Sequoia in the first quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Sequoia for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $6,940, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2017.
