Cathedral City home prices rise in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Cathedral City rose by $24,500 while total sales decreased by 18%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 150 homes sold, with a median sale price of $316,500 - a 8.4% increase over the $292,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 183 homes sold in Cathedral City in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Cathedral City for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,058, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
