Lake Elsinore home prices fall in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Lake Elsinore fell by $10,000 while total sales decreased by 20.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 159 homes sold, with a median sale price of $350,000 - a 2.8% decrease over the $360,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 199 homes sold in Lake Elsinore in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Lake Elsinore for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,573, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
