Santa Clarita home prices rose in the first half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Santa Clarita rose by $40,000 while total sales increased by 12.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were 671 homes sold, with a median sale price of $500,000 - a 8.7% increase over the $460,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 598 homes sold in Santa Clarita in the first half of 2016.
