The first half of 2017: Home prices in Los Angeles increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Los Angeles rose by $45,000 while total sales increased by 15.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were 7,336 homes sold, with a median sale price of $610,000 - a 8% increase over the $565,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 6,348 homes sold in Los Angeles in the first half of 2016.
